Before your consultation
Please bring:
- Photo ID and your insurance card
- A list of your current medications, including doses
- Any previous medical reports, operative notes or discharge summaries
- Imaging — ultrasound, CT, MRI — on disc or film, along with the written report
- Any referral letter
It also helps to write down beforehand when your symptoms began, what makes them better or worse, and the questions you want answered. Consultations move faster when you don't have to remember everything on the spot.
What to expect
A consultation involves discussion of your symptoms and history, a physical examination, and review of any investigations you bring. Dr. Younes will explain what he thinks is happening, what further tests may be needed, and what the treatment options are.
If surgery is recommended, you will be told what the operation involves, what the recovery looks like, what the risks are, and what the alternatives would be. You are not expected to decide during the consultation.
Before and after surgery
Patients receive written instructions specific to their procedure — fasting requirements, which medications to stop and when, what to bring, and what recovery should look like day by day, including the warning signs that mean you should call.

Dr. Younes operates at Najjar Hospital, Rafic Hariri University Hospital and Fouad Khoury Hospital.
Insurance
Dr. Younes accepts NSSF, and works with most major Lebanese and international insurance providers.
